Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant who will play a critical role in managing the general ledger, supporting financial reporting processes, and preparing for audits. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Yardi software and a solid background in real estate accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with the coordination and preparation of internal and external audits.
• Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on real estate.
• Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
