About the role

Ramp seeks an RFP Specialist to join its team and help scale into new, unique accounts. As we serve larger customers with more complex needs, the ability to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires in a timely, consistent, and compelling way has become a key part of winning enterprise deals.

In this role, you’ll be the point person for managing and completing RFPs and related questionnaires. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Security, Legal, Product, Product Marketing and other teams to ensure Ramp’s responses are accurate, high-quality, and aligned with our brand. You’ll also help define and improve the process for managing RFPs—including the potential implementation and management of a dedicated RFP response platform. This is a high-leverage role that directly supports Ramp’s growth in the enterprise segment.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, is detail-oriented, and enjoys turning technical input into polished, persuasive content. If you have a bias for action and want to help shape how Ramp wins larger customers, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end RFP and security questionnaire response process for prospective enterprise customers

  • Coordinate inputs from Sales, Product, Legal, Security, Product Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely responses

  • Draft and refine written answers to technical, functional, and business questions in RFPs and RFIs.

  • Establish and maintain a scalable, up-to-date knowledge base of commonly asked questions and approved answers

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage an RFP response platform or similar tooling

  • Partner with Sales leadership to track and improve RFP win rates and turnaround times

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, and collaboration across teams

  • Ensure all responses are aligned with Ramp’s tone, brand, and positioning

What you'll need

  • 3+ years of experience working on RFPs or security questionnaires in a B2B SaaS or fintech environment

  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple, concurrent deadlines

  • Excellent written communication and editing skills, with attention to both detail and clarity

  • Comfort working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Familiarity with RFP software tools (e.g. Loopio, RFPIO, Responsive) is a plus

  • Experience supporting enterprise sales or go-to-market teams

  • Strong sense of ownership and a bias for action

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience standing up a net-new RFP function or tooling

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001) and InfoSec documentation

  • Background in proposal writing, technical writing, or solution consulting

Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)

  • 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you

  • 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)

  • Flexible PTO

  • Fertility HRA (up to $5,000 per year)

  • WFH stipend to support your home office needs

  • Wellness stipend

  • Parental Leave

  • Relocation support to NYC or SF

  • Pet insurance

Other notices

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Compensation

$122K – $187K • Offers Equity
