What You Can Expect  

During an internship in our Digital & Technology function, you will face authentic business opportunities, craft scalable solutions, and make a real impact. Our internships are thoughtfully planned to offer the following for students who bring passion, collaboration, and innovation to their role:

This internship will begin late spring 2025 (start date TBD) and will be onsite at our Beachwood, OH office. Internships will last a minimum of 10 weeks, with the option of interning over the following school year if your schedule permits.

Cyber Security Internship

As a Cyber Security Intern , you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cyber defense, security testing, and threat detection while working alongside experienced security professionals.

• Participate in Red/Blue team exercises to assess vulnerabilities and strengthen our security posture.
• Play a key role in threat detection and incident response , helping to analyze and mitigate security risks.
• Gain hands-on experience in cyber security tools and scripting languages, including Python, Bash, Linux, and KQL .
• Assist in the development and enhancement of security monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify potential weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams to support ongoing security initiatives and projects.
• Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Are pursuing a Bachelor’s Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and will graduate in spring of 2026 
• Have a foundational understanding of network security, system administration, and threat detection.
• Possess experience with Python, Bash, Linux, and KQL, or have a strong willingness to learn.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in cyber security and ethical hacking.
• Are curious, proactive, and eager to contribute to real-world security challenges.
• Will be located in the Cleveland, OH area for the summer.
