Job Title: X-Ray Technician (Contract, 0–2 Years)
Location: New York, NY 10019
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7.5 hours/day | 37.5 hours/week
Duration: Contract
Pay Rate: $50 – $60/hour
Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders
Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring proper technique and radiation safety measures
Operate and maintain X-ray equipment; perform basic troubleshooting and report malfunctions
Accurately document procedures and update patient records in line with facility protocols
Assist with inventory management and upkeep of radiology supplies
Adhere to infection prevention protocols and maintain a clean, safe imaging environment
Provide support across the department and respond to age-specific patient care needs
Education:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
Licenses & Certifications:
NY State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.) – Required
ARRT Certification – Required
Experience:
0–2 years of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply
