Looking to hire a highly motivated Wine & Spirits Sales Manager for Alabama

Qualifications for Position
High School Diploma or GED required, College degree preferred.
Must be 21 years of age
Minimum of 5 years of sales related experience
Strong sales aptitude with a demonstrated success
Extensive knowledge of wine and spirits, with an understanding of how to promote and sell
Must possess strong motivational, coaching, leadership, and supervisory skills
Friendly, courteous, works well with others, and maintains a professional appearance
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Self motivated with an attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, to include weekends
Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Assumes responsibility for personal development and training
Has a strong commitment to customer service with the ability to effectively work in a team environment
Industry specific certification preferred, WSET, CSS, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities
Managing and training sales Team members
Setting departmental expectation and goals on a monthly as well as yearly basis
Creating and monitoring monthly scorecards for sales reps
Organizing and conducting sales meetings
Assisting with interviews and hiring new team members for the department
Holding performance reviews, coaching on sales training when needed
Monitoring sales reps to ensure they are completing their job functions
Managing daily retail inventory levels using sales history, competitive activity, promotional activities, etc.
Introducing new brands and management of portfolio as it relates to the sales focuses.
Fulfilling pre-established programs and objectives set by upper level management
Creating strong relationships with our customers by providing dependable, friendly, and appreciative service
Working with sales reps, merchandisers, leadership, and our customers to maximize sales and merchandising
