We are seeking an experienced (3 years minimum) PART TIME 20 HOURS PER WEEK, MAY BE LATER FULL TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK) - VIRTUAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT for our medical office in Southern California.
**Pay:** $3-$6/hr, depending on experience
**Schedule**: 20 hour per week, may lead to 40 hours per week
**Virtual Medical Assistant Duties include (but not limited to):**
* Fluency in ENGLISH speaking, reading and writing (Required)
* Fluency in MANDARIN CHINESE speaking only (Required)
* -Fast typist (there is a typing test)
* -Excellent customer service skills
* -Excellent phone skills with heavy phone volume
* -Making insurance authorization requests to insurance companies
* -Paperwork, including lots of computer data entry
* -Making appointments
* -Verifying insurance eligibility
* -typing History and Physical from reading the doctor's notes or dictations (after thorough training by doctor)
