Veterinary Assistant – Thrive Pet Healthcare  

Decatur, Georgia

Shift/Schedule: 4 ten hour shifts per week  

Thrive Pet Health Care-Decatur  is looking for a Veterinary Assistant  to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to surgery assistance, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

• Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
• Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
• Must have one year of recent veterinary experience

At Thrive Pet Healthcare - Decatur, we offer primary care services for cats and dogs in Decatur, Midtown, Buford, Marietta, Woodstock, and Alpharetta, GA. We provide wellness and preventative care, surgery, vaccines, and diagnostic testing.

At Thrive Pet Healthcare - Decatur, we're here to help your pets thrive! We provide services 6 days a week, allowing flexibility and convenience for our clients. We also are here to help assist your pets that need urgent medical attention for non-critical conditions.

We are open Monday – Saturday 8:00am – 6:00pm

Serving neighborhoods in Decatur, Midtown, Buford, Marietta, Woodstock, Alpharetta
