Job Description

We are seeking compassionate caregivers for a male client assignment in Lake Nona, FL, 9 am - 3 pm. Must have Dementia experience and a gentle demeanor with a 2-year minimum of verifiable IN-HOME CARE experience. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact we want you on our team! Minimum Requirements
  • 2 YEARS MINIMUM of verifiable in-home care experience
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Must work 2 weekend days a month
  • Proven experience in caring for clients with dementia
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to keep clients engaged and active
  • Professional and dedicated to providing high-quality care
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
  • Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a background check
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Ability to handle physical and emotional demands of the role
Responsibilities
  • Provide non-medical personal assistance to clients in their homes
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Providing medication reminders and assistance with managing medications
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Document care provided and communicate with the care team as needed
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and outings
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
