Job Description: Summer Infrastructure Private Equity Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Summer Infrastructure Private Equity Analyst . This 10 12 week internship offers an immersive experience in infrastructure private equity, providing exposure to all aspects of the investment process, including market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio management. As a Summer Analyst, you will work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining valuable insights into the dynamic and impactful infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities: Investment Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify and assess infrastructure investment opportunities across sectors such as energy, transportation, utilities, and digital infrastructure.
• Assist in building financial models, including cash flow analyses, sensitivity scenarios, and IRR calculations.
• Evaluate investment opportunities by analyzing business performance, market trends, and competitive positioning.
• Support the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for internal investment committees.

Due Diligence and Transaction Support:

• Participate in due diligence efforts, including reviewing financial data, conducting site visits, and collaborating with external advisors.
• Analyze operational, legal, and financial risks associated with potential investments.
• Assist in coordinating data rooms and tracking due diligence findings.

Portfolio Management:

• Monitor the performance of portfolio assets by analyzing financial and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to support strategic initiatives and business plan execution.
• Prepare regular reports summarizing portfolio performance and key updates for stakeholders.

Collaboration and Learning:

• Work closely with senior team members on live transactions and strategic projects.
• Participate in team discussions on investment strategies, market trends, and portfolio optimization.
• Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of infrastructure investments, from sourcing to execution and management.

Qualifications: Educational Background:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong academic performance with demonstrated interest in private equity or infrastructure sectors.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a basic understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Preqin, Bloomberg) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
