The Connexa Search Group is recruiting for a Staff Accountant (Up to $65,000/yr depending on experience) to join a well-established CPA firm that offers a fast-paced environment suited for quick learners with strong attention to detail. This role is primarily focused on audit and general accounting, with tax preparation responsibilities during peak seasons. The firm specializes in governmental and nonprofit auditing, bookkeeping services, and the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform audits, reviews, and compilations for governmental, nonprofit, and privately held entities
Prepare a variety of tax returns, including individual, corporate, S-corp, partnership, nonprofit, estate, and trust
Provide bookkeeping services to clients as needed
Maintain accurate and organized workpapers
Communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative mindset and desire to grow within public accounting
