Job Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our logistics and warehouse operations. This role plays a critical part in optimizing our supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather data from various sources, including warehouse management systems, transportation software, and other relevant databases.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into performance against KPIs.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stocking strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend actions for inventory reduction.
- Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to identify process bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Propose and implement data-driven process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Use historical data to develop demand forecasts and inventory projections.
- Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation based on forecasted demand.
- Monitor and report on product quality and compliance with relevant standards.
- Identify and address quality issues and suggest corrective actions.
- Create clear and concise data visualizations, charts, and graphs to communicate findings effectively.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics).
- Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in logistics operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau).
