**Overview** Intelligent Waves is seeking a skilled **Site Manager** to oversee the execution and coordination of technical operations in support of airborne mission systems. This role is responsible for managing site activities from startup through execution, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved, risks are mitigated, and all tasks align with project schedules and budgets. The Site Manager plays a critical role in collecting and reporting site metrics, supporting program leadership, and maintaining high-quality performance standards across operations. In addition to site management duties, this position involves hands-on work with complex airborne instrumentation systems. The Site Manager will evaluate, upgrade, and operate specialized systems before, during, and after missions-coordinating closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure mission readiness. This role requires the ability to interpret technical schematics, perform system checkouts, and apply emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities. **_ALWAYS READY. ANYTIME. ANYWHERE. All travel will be reimbursed in accordance with GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). **Security Clearance** : Must be a United States Citizen and hold an active Secret Clearance with the ability to possess a Top-Secret clearance. **_Adherence to all customer site protocols is mandatory for employees._** **Responsibilities** **Program Execution & Site Management** + Support all aspects of program startup and execution, including identifying, tracking, managing, and resolving site issues. + Assist Project and Program Managers in maintaining the site schedule, ensuring work is assigned, completed on time, and aligned with budget constraints. + Identify, assess, and mitigate site risks to ensure acceptable solution quality. + Collect and report site metrics to monitor program progress and deliverable quality. + Produce and present site performance metrics-covering cost, schedule, and execution-for leadership review. + Disseminate program information proactively to all stakeholders. **Instrumentation Systems Support** + Evaluate, upgrade, modify, and operate airborne instrumentation systems before, during, and after missions, including design, integration, functional checkouts, and mission data capture. + Plan, troubleshoot, and maintain unique instrumentation systems, upgrading capabilities as needed based on emerging technologies. **Technical Coordination & Maintenance** + Coordinate instrumentation requirements, schedules, and work plans between the Operations division and Aircraft Maintenance Unit to verify mission readiness. + Interpret technical documents such as drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electronic system specifications. + Support instrumentation system operations and modifications by moving, storing, loading equipment, conducting functional and cockpit integrity checks, and performing data uploads/downloads and mission configurations. **Qualifications** + Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 14 years in fighter aircraft maintenance, including high-level supervisory responsibilities. Must demonstrate deep knowledge of fighter aircraft systems and flight line operations across platforms such as F-16, F-15, A-10, F/A-18, F-22, and F-35 (F-35 and production experience strongly preferred). + Extensive background in instrumentation, avionics, or test systems with demonstrated ability to manage technical teams and complex operations. + Bachelor's degree preferred; may be substituted with 20+ years of aircraft maintenance and leadership experience. + Willing and able to work non-standard hours to support mission requirements, including evenings, weekends, holidays, shift work, and overtime as needed. + Must be willing and able to travel, including occasional CONUS and OCONUS deployments via military and commercial aircraft. + Must possess a valid and current passport. **Personal Attributes:** + High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results. + Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities; demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making based on timely and accurate analysis. + Proven ability to engage and communicate clearly with senior military leaders and civilian government officials. + Exceptional communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across all organizational levels and manage multidisciplinary teams.
