We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join the firm in our Burnsville, MN, office to work with multi-disciplinary teams on State, Local Government, and private projects, primarily in the transportation arena.
Our Senior Traffic Engineers play an essential role in the successful completion of transportation projects while ensuring they are safe, efficient, and cost-effective. They have the skills and experience to take on multifaceted roles and provide leadership and growth in our traffic engineering section surrounded by a team of dynamic engineering professionals.
Responsibilities may include:
Traffic analysis and modeling
Traffic design
Project management
Communication and collaboration
Public outreach
Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards

Experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Proficiency in traffic analysis and design software
Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
5+ years of progressive traffic engineering related experience
B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field) with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Minnesota
Certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE)
