Senior Network Security Engineer

Leveraging top-tier technologies like Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Routers, you will be tasked with constructing and maintaining a fortified and efficient network framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• AWS Cloud Security: As a pivotal figure in our team, you will spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions tailored for Amazon Web Services. This involves careful planning and execution of security protocols vital for the protection of sensitive data and critical applications hosted on the cloud, ensuring compliance with the latest security standards and practices.
• Palo Alto Firewalls: Your responsibilities will include the detailed design and active management of complex firewall configurations. Through your expertise, you will play a critical role in fortifying our network gateways, effectively shielding them from potential cyber threats and unauthorized access, thus upholding the integrity and security of our network perimeters.
• Cisco Routers: You will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of Cisco router configurations, managing their deployment to secure and streamline data transmission across our networks, ensuring there is no compromise in data integrity and transmission efficiency.
• Linux Infrastructure: Your duties will also extend to the administration of Linux operating systems within our network. This will involve regular system assessments and updates to enhance functionality and security, ensuring they meet and exceed industry security benchmarks.
• Security Operations/Incident Response: You will implement and oversee a robust monitoring system that allows for the early detection of security threats. In the event of a security incident, you will manage a prompt and effective response to mitigate risks and limit any potential disruptions or damage, thereby maintaining continuous business operations.
• Zero Trust Architecture: A significant part of your role will be to establish and uphold a Zero Trust Architecture framework within our network. This approach ensures that trust is never implicitly given and that verification is a continuous process, fundamental to securing network access and data.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Network Security or a related field is a prerequisite for this position. We are seeking candidates who not only have a solid academic background but also possess extensive real-world experience in managing complex network security environments.
