Job Description



Eurofins Medical Device Services is looking for a  Production Planner  to join our team in Lancaster, PA. This individual will:

  • Execute efficient schedules on a regular basis to maximize efficiency of resources and equipment.
  • Collaborate with staff to identify scheduling requirements
  • Proactively monitors production process, workflow, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide various scheduling analyses to ensure optimal schedules and provide staff recommendations.
  • Make recommendations to modify production dates based on materials and capacity fluctuations.
  • Lead and execute the expansion of the scheduling service to new teams and sites
  • Recognize and analyze problems with scheduling system to solve ongoing and repeat issues
  • Capture, store, and report on historical statistics
  • Generate daily or weekly production reports to leaders for critical decision-making purposes.
  • Maintain communication of information between the users and management concerning system development and maintenance needs, objectives, and strategies.
  • Champion and implement process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with new processes across service lines.

Performs other related duties as required and directed

Qualifications



The ideal candidate would possess:

  • 1-3 years of scheduling experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project is highly desirable
  • High level critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to think abstractly/conceptually about data fields, data relationships, and processes.
  • Project management or facilitation skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to forecast and trend workload needs.
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical testing is not required, but would be beneficial
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required. 

Minimum

Qualifications

:

  • At least a high school diploma, but Bachelor’s degree is preferred 
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information



Working schedule will be Full-Time, Monday-Friday  8a m-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. This position is NOT remote.
