The SAR Manager (SM) will assist the Flight Operations Manager (FOM) to ensure safe and efficient flight operations in the SAR operation.

The SAR Manager will (FOM responsible):

Conduct supervision of the Company’s SAR operations, ensuring that these are performed in accordance with documentation and obtained approvals.
run a sound organization with adequate and qualified resources and apply continuous risk management processes of all SAR flight operation activities.
ensure that all SAR Crew Members are licensed in accordance with EASA Regulation Air Crew.
supervise the budget and monitoring costs for SAR.
co-operate with CAA-N in SAR matters
participate in meetings in the Operations Department, with the customers and the Safety Action Group Operations (SAG Ops if CP SAR is not present).
maintain the required level of knowledge concerning national and international aviation regulations.
establish systems for supervision to ensure that every SAR flight is planned and conducted in accordance with relevant and approved manuals.
be responsible for the amendments and revisions of OM A Spec Ops
be familiar with the Company’s contingency plans.
