Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
4 days/week
10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; days may vary)
Local Rate: $2,750 – $3,000/Week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled RN Nurse Educator to support and enhance the professional development of nursing staff within a fast-paced Operating Room (OR) environment. The ideal candidate will lead educational initiatives, support staff competency, and ensure training aligns with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments to identify staff learning needs and develop targeted training programs.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate educational sessions using adult learning methodologies.
Lead orientation for new nursing staff and oversee ongoing competency evaluations.
Partner with nursing leadership to align training initiatives with departmental and organizational goals.
Maintain thorough documentation of educational activities, competencies, and staff progress.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to support continuous professional growth.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg clinical experience .
Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification from NYSED.
AHA BLS certification (current and valid).
