Registered Nurse – Triage Nurse

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, urgent care, or triage settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Experience in patient prioritization and emergency response.

Duties:

• Assess incoming patients to determine the urgency of their condition.
• Perform initial evaluations, including vital signs, symptom assessment, and medical history review.
• Prioritize patient care based on severity and available resources.
• Provide patient education and instructions for follow-up care.
• Assist in emergency interventions, including administering medications and stabilizing patients.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of triage assessments and decisions.
