Job Overview:
The QA Test Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems through both automated and manual testing. This position supports various entities and requires a strong understanding of test automation, microservices architecture, and workflow management. The role involves working on-site in Plano, Texas, for at least two or more days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements and write, update, and execute test cases.
• Troubleshoot defects and analyze test results.
• Log and triage defects while testing multiple mobile devices.
• Report status updates to the Test Lead and Test Manager.
• Act as a sub-lead for specific functional areas of a project or multiple concurrent projects.
• Participate in test planning and testing activities across multiple devices and projects.
• Perform hands-on testing, including reviewing requirements, analyzing needs, running test cases, and regressing defects.
• Serve as a point of escalation for team members and collaborate closely with project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in automation tools and languages such as Spock, Java, Groovy, Jenkins, RestAPI, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Kafka.
• Knowledge of database concepts and cloud technologies.
• Experience with workflow management.

Pay Range: $50 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
