Our client is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the Amsterdam, New York, area to join their team. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health and substance use disorder treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive mental health and SUD services within your licensed scope of practice in collaboration with the Medical Director and Clinic Leadership Team.
• Participate in the development and administration of therapeutic and training programs.
• Ensure that client services adhere to best care practices, industry standards, legal requirements, and federal regulations.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in assessing, managing, and overseeing mental health and SUD services.
• Foster a supportive and professional environment for both clients and team members.

Qualifications:

• 3+  years of experience as a PMHNP specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment (preferably in an outpatient setting).
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) and DEA Certification.
• Board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a PMHNP.
• Prescriptive authority in the State of New York and a valid DEA license.

• Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
