Job Description

LaSalle Network is in search of a Production Scheduler for a well-known, innovation-driven consumer packaged goods company headquartered in Chicago. This organization is experiencing continued growth and undergoing exciting supply chain transformation efforts as part of a massive integration project. The Production Scheduler will play a key role in driving inventory optimization and supporting cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Production Scheduler will be responsible for ensuring service level targets are met by coordinating inventory build strategies and working closely with plant schedulers across several plants in the Chicagoland area. This person will support new product rollouts, help mitigate obsolescence and assist with system testing and integration efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career who wants exposure across multiple desks and functions, with the potential to make a meaningful impact and earn a permanent role.

Production Scheduler Responsibilities:
  • Partner with plant schedulers to maintain service levels and manage optimal inventory builds
  • Monitor SKU build schedules and proactively address risks, delays, or trade-offs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product rollouts and minimize inventory obsolescence
  • Contribute to system testing and integration as part of the company’s broader transformation initiatives
  • Engage across departments to support dynamic business needs and enhance process efficiency
Production Scheduler Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of experience in supply chain roles, with at least 6 months in production planning
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate trade-offs and priorities
  • Adaptability and interest in learning new systems and collaborating with various departments
  • Effective communicator who thrives in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment
If you’re eager to build your supply planning experience with a collaborative team and a company that’s growing and evolving, apply today!

Thank you,
