Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Associate Patient Care Coordinator in Chandler, Arizona. As an Associate Patient Care Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring a positive patient experience, particularly within the registration process. The Associate Patient Care Coordinator also includes verifying patient data, insurance information, and resolving any patient inquiries. Responsibilities: · Appropriate patient identification. · Collecting accurate and thorough patient demographic data. · Obtaining insurance information and verifying eligibility and benefits. · Determining and collecting patient financial liability and e Referring patients to the Patient Registration Specialist as needed for assistance with financial counseling and/or clearance. · The Patient Registration Representative adheres to the organization's policies and procedures for resolution of patient financial liability. Requirements - Exceptional customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers - Proficient in understanding and implementing procedures and policies related to patient care - Sound knowledge of insurance policies, benefit functions, and reimbursement processes - Familiarity with liability and offshore processes related to patient care - Ability to accurately record patient demographic information and carry out patient registration - Proficient in managing registration processes in a healthcare setting - Experience in providing financial counseling to patients and understanding patient financial requirements - Knowledge of TRICARE and its application in patient care coordination - Proficiency in using NIS software for patient care coordination - Strong understanding and respect for patient rights in a healthcare environment TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
