Paint Prep

Starting Wage: $22/ HR
Shift: 6:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

Are you interested in a career change with a small organization on the grow? We are looking for individuals to join our team to assist in the paint prep of doors in the architectural, ag, aviation, and commercial markets.

Midland Door Solutions,  a leader in the manufacture and installation of bi-fold and hydraulic doors, is actively seeking a paint prepper to join our team. We manufacture custom doors for customers in the Upper Midwest and nationwide. We are committed to providing our employees and customers with the best experience possible. Essential Duties:

 

1. Wash and wipe steel door frames to be painted
2. Use hand tools and power tools to prepare frames to be painted
3. Taping of parts to be painted
4. Ability to operate forklift, overhead crane and scissor lift
5. Common knowledge of hand tools and other fabrication equipment
6. Ability to communicate across departments
7. Ability to lift 50+ pounds
8. Willingness to learn to paint to assist painter when required
9. Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to hazardous materials
