Who We Are:
Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Job Summary: The non-CDL delivery driver will be responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory. Schedule is 5, 8 hour days.
Duties/Responsibilities: - Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection.
- Drive the assigned route, delivering beer in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
- Check product in with store personnel.
- Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
- Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered products for credit.
- Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily
- Rotate all products according to company standards.
- Be courteous to customers and their employees at all times.
- Communicate effectively with sales reps.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
- Must be able to lift 25-35 lbs. regularly, and 160lbs to waist level.
- Must be able to navigate with a hand truck full of products.
- Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.
