Medical Office Billing and Administration Location San Ramon, CA :

Seeking full-time Biller & Administrative assistant for small pediatric practice. Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm

Great position for someone who is looking to take their medical office experience to the next level!

Responsible for managing Billing & Collections, and other pediatric practice. administrative duties.

Oversee customer service aspect of the practice - interacting with patients in the office and on the phones, scheduling, and workflows to ensure a positive patient experience. Building lasting relationships with patients by ensuring their visit to us is a wonderful experience.

Communicate with a wide variety of individuals on a regular basis including medical patients, Physicians/other Providers of care, and staff.

Takes initiative - works well in a team setting and on their own with minimal supervision.

Must be capable of performing the following front office duties:Scheduling patientsVerifying insurance and obtaining authorizations

Answering phones, checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays

Explaining elective procedures in easy-to-understand stepsIdentifying needs by answering questions to determine concerns

Candidate must be:

• Well organized, proficient with basic computer programs (EMR experience), and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledgeable of medical insurances, medical billing, claims EOB posting, A/R, appeals and collections is required.
• Understanding of medical ICD 10 codes and CPT medical billing codes
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy requirements for patient information. Maintains and protects confidential information

Previous medical office Billing experience is REQUIRED for this position

3-5 years of Previous medical front office experience preferred
