Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Billing Manager to lead our clients medical billing operations in Mesa, Arizona. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee billing processes, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and drive efficiency across all aspects of revenue cycle management. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the billing team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations. - Oversee quality assurance of billing cases through regular audits and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. - Develop and implement policies to improve operational efficiency and adapt to changes in regulatory requirements. - Address team conflicts and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to foster positive relationships. - Utilize data-driven strategies to enhance referral, eligibility, and authorization services. - Ensure accurate review and timely submission of claims while addressing any issues to meet deadlines. - Supervise coding processes, conduct audits, and ensure hospital charges are completed promptly and accurately. - Manage aging accounts receivable, minimize outstanding balances, and follow up on denied claims to ensure timely resolution. - Oversee payment posting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of monthly payments. - Maintain strong relationships with payers, ensuring provider enrollment and keeping records up to date. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience leading medical billing and revenue cycle management. - Strong knowledge of medical collections, billing functions, and accounts receivable systems. - Proven expertise in managing teams. - Advanced understanding of coding standards and compliance regulations. - Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in strategic planning and data analysis to support revenue management. - Familiarity with risk management and compliance protocols in healthcare settings. - Waystar experience preferred.
