**Job Title: Materials Associate** **Job Description** Join a dynamic defense technology company dedicated to transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. As a Materials Associate, you will support off-site shipping operations at our Victorville, CA facility. This role offers a day shift schedule from 7am to 3pm, with two hours of overtime daily. Ideal candidates will have experience in government or federal shipping, specifically with FAR/DFARS regulations. **Responsibilities** + Process shipping and receiving at the Victorville, CA location as required. + Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing products. + Ensure accurate material movement across sites for each transaction. + Manage orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished products for final distribution. + Complete cycle counts and conduct warehouse activities with a focus on inventory accuracy. + Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and stocking materials and supplies, recording inventory locations, and reporting shortages. + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks. + Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments according to production needs. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience as a warehouse associate or equivalent role. + 1+ year of experience with government or federal material shipping (FAR/DFARS). + 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tools. + Familiarity with inventory management including Lot, Serial, and Batch tracking in high mix, high production volumes. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tools. + Ability to communicate clearly and prioritize tasks efficiently. + Forklift and pallet jack operation experience. + Excellent customer service skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid driver's license. + Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance. **Why Work Here?** This role offers the chance to be part of a three to six-month project with potential for direct hire based on performance.
