Nexus Employment Solutions Plus inc, is looking for a Manual Machine Operator for the Griffith, IN Area

• Temp to Hire

• Shift: 1st shift (6am – 4:30) M – F

• Pay Rate: $18.00 hourly

• Location: Griffith

**Duties include: **

• Set up and

  operate manual machines and tools to produce precision parts

• Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.

• Measures, examines, or tests completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications

• Use precision instruments, such as micrometers, and calipers, height gages

• Maintains machine tools in proper operational condition.

• Studies sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.

• Checks work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.

• Lays out, measures, and marks metal stock to display placement of cuts.

• Fits and assembles parts to make or repair machine tools.

• Sets up or operate machinery and cutting equipment.

• Dismantles machines or equipment, using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and replace defective parts where needed.

• Ability to troubleshoot machinery

Qualifications:

• Manual Machine Operating experience

• 2 – 3-year experience

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred

You should be proficient in:

• Troubleshooting Skills
• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
• Machine Setups for Production Runs
• Excellent Communication Skills
