Licensed Optician needs 3+ years experience
Licensed Optician requires:
o Experience recommending eyewear and lens options tailored to lifestyle and prescription needs.
o Awareness of current eyewear trends and ability to guide patients in frame selection.
o Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
o 8:00am to 5:00pm
o Holds all current licenses and certifications required to fit and dispense prescription ophthalmic eyeglasses in the state of Florida
Licensed Optician duties:
o Travel to and work on-site at the Florida facility for two consecutive weekdays per visit, up to 12 visits per year (maximum of 24 days annually)
o Maintain flexible weekday availability (MondayFriday only) to accommodate scheduled visits.
o Fit, adjust, and dispense prescription eyewear to study participants in accordance with trial protocols.
o Provide expert guidance on frame selection based on individual style, facial features, and lifestyle.
o Become familiar with and adhere to Transitions testing methodology and study procedures.
o Ensure compliance with all licensing and certification requirements for optical dispensing in Florida.
