Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser machinery according to specifications provided
• Report to production supervisor
• Set and update laser schedule as received from production supervisor
• Oversee and motivate subordinates to efficiently produce high quality laser engravings
• Receive graphic images and convert them to Vector files
• Create high-quality laser engraving designs and products in a safe and efficient manner
• Inspect and maintain laser machines to ensure they are in good working condition
• Adjust machine settings to improve quality and efficiency of the production process
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues that arise with laser machinery
• Clean and maintain work areas, including laser machinery and equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
• Proven experience as a Laser technician or multiyear experience as computer programmer
• Experience with EZCADZ Software (YAG) preferred
• Experience with CORELDRAW Software (CO2) preferred
• Experience with Raster to Vector file conversion preferred
• Experience working with graphic images
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical and mechanical skills
• Team player attitude
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
