This summer intern position will be focused on Data Analytics within one of our internal IT groups.

The Maritz Internship program is a 10 -12 week experience, so candidates/students need to be available to work full time hours throughout the duration of the summer. In addition to getting some real world experience, our Maritz intern program also includes lunch & learns with various departments, executive/leadership meet and greets, teambuilding with the cohort, intern events, career support resources, etc.

Position will work 40 hours a week, M - F daytime hours, working on site at our Fenton location. Relocation is not provided.

Primary Responsibilities

• Daily snapshots - This is the process of creating a backup of the Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) environment daily. This is for disaster recovery purposes.
• User set ups in OAC - Managing the user maintenance for OAC (adding/removing users)
• Convert classic dashboards to modern workbooks - We have been slowly working through reports originally built in OAC classic (due to feature gaps with modern). Now that those gaps are closing, we have been rebuilding in OAC modern.
• Send out June & August Tips & Tricks emails
• BI-Support mailbox management
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Management Information System, Computer Science, IT, or Data Analytics required.
• Experience in database concepts and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills and great teamwork skills.
• SQL experience helpful.
• Interns must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or above.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a completion of 60 credit hours, or currently enrolled in a master's degree/PHD program. Interns that are graduating in May or August do not qualify. They must be enrolled and returning to their university or college.
• Must be able to work in the US without any current or future visa/ sponsorship requirements.
