Job Description: We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Hedge Fund Investment Research Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on various investment opportunities within the hedge fund industry. You will work closely with portfolio managers and other members of the investment team to identify potential investment strategies, analyze market trends, and assess the performance of existing investments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough due diligence on hedge fund managers, including quantitative analysis of performance metrics, risk management strategies, and investment processes.
• Analyzing financial markets, economic trends, and geopolitical events to identify potential investment opportunities and risks.
• Building financial models and conducting valuation analysis to assess the attractiveness of potential investments.
• Monitoring the performance of existing hedge fund investments and providing regular updates to the investment team.
• Collaborating with portfolio managers to develop and implement investment strategies that align with the firm's objectives.
• Communicating research findings and investment recommendations to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in investment research, preferably within the hedge fund industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and investment recommendations.
• Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
