Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for completing all necessary steps in the production of POS, Signage, Cooler Wraps, and other graphic design advertisement materials. Maintain printers and computer equipment, update relevant design programs and supplier material. Must be a strong safety advocate and is responsible for following all company policies, safety practices and procedures, and operate in a safe manner.

Essential Functions:
Business
Design, produce and distribute signage for:
Sales Personnel
Chain Dept.
Safety Signage and Materials
Cooler Tags
Developing Digital Picture Frames (Advertisement Purposes)
Cooler Wraps (Design and Install)
Maintain and Update database with most current Supplier Graphic for our Website and Shelf Tags
Conduct maintenance on printers and building, as needed.
Budget
Track and order relevant printing supplies.
Monitor expenditures
Fill in for POS/Warehouse duties, as required.
Assist the Marketing Department and suppliers with designing artwork for promotions.
Function as last checkpoint to ensure signage compliance with DDC policy and SLA regulations.
People
Maintain positive communication with DDC and Supplier personnel.
Maintain positive interactions and relationships with vendors.
Self-Organization
Weekly monitoring and execution of sign requests from Sign Trak
Ensure timely completion of special projects, including maintenance of project calendar.
Required Skills:
High School diploma or equivalency
Knowledge of MS Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sign Trak
Working knowledge of graphic design software (Flexi Sign Pro, Adobe CS)
Work Shift Requirements:
Ability to work overtime, as required.
Must speak to supervisor to notify him/her any time prior to the beginning of work shift when calling in sick. Voice mail or e-mail messages are not acceptable replacements.
Use and maintenance of company-issued computers.
Environment & Physical Demands
Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
Take immediate action to resolve and/or report any unsafe conditions.
Conduct safety inspections of work area and equipment, as required.
For all on-the-job injuries or accidents, must notify Safety Officer, supervisor, and Human Resources immediately (no later than 1 hour)
Ability to lift Approx. 70lbs.
Ability to climb ladders, reach for purposes of hanging signs, and use bucket truck at special events.
