Geotechnical Driller job at Goodwin Recruiting Halethorpe, MD, US

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Geotechnical Driller to operate drilling equipment, collect soil and rock samples, and support geotechnical projects. The role involves site setup, equipment maintenance, and field-testing to ensure accurate data collection.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate drilling equipment (rotary, auger, mud rotary) for soil and rock sampling.
Prepare and maintain drilling sites, ensuring safety compliance.
Perform field-testing (SPT, permeability) and document findings.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and transport drilling equipment.
Work with engineers and project managers to meet project needs.

Hollow Stem Auger Drilling, Mud Rotary Drilling, Air Rotary Drilling, NQ Rock Coring

Requirements:

2+ years of geotechnical drilling experience.
Valid CDL and clean driving record.
Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance.
Physical ability to work outdoors and lift heavy equipment.
Willingness to travel to various job sites.
Strong work ethic and team player

Benefits:
