Job Title-General Manager-HR
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead and manage the full recruitment process, including talent sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for various roles within the agency, with a strong focus on creative professionals and key managerial positions.
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent in the advertising and creative sectors.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging social media platforms.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop customized hiring plans.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure that the agency remains competitive in talent acquisition.
General HR Management:
- Provide HR leadership and strategic guidance across all HR functions, ensuring alignment with the agency's objectives and values.
- Manage employee relations, resolve workplace conflicts, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR-related issues.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring the successful implementation of performance appraisals, feedback, and professional development plans.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Learning and Development:
- Identify training and development needs across the agency and create programs to support employee growth.
- Implement leadership development programs and initiatives to nurture talent from within.
- Collaborate with department heads to create a learning culture that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the agency's compensation and benefits strategy to ensure competitiveness and equity within the industry.
- Manage salary benchmarking, incentive programs, and performance-based rewards.
- Provide recommendations on compensation adjustments, benefits packages, and other HR-related offerings to retain top talent.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture that aligns with the agency's mission and values.
- Lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Organize and support company-wide events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Analyze HR metrics to provide insights into employee performance, engagement, and retention trends.
- Use data to make informed decisions on workforce planning, hiring strategies, and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in HR, with a significant portion of it in talent acquisition and generalist HR roles. Experience in the advertising or creative industry is a plus.
- Proven track record in leading talent acquisition strategies and building strong talent pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and mentorship.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to execute HR initiatives that support the agency's goals.
High emotional intelligence with the ability to manage diverse teams and navigate complex situations
