Position Overview The
Front Desk Clerk will serve as the initial point of contact for walk-in clients, phone calls, and general inquiries. This individual plays a critical role in providing exceptional administrative support, managing client flow, and ensuring a welcoming, professional environment for service members, families, retirees, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Greet and assist clients, providing general information or directing them to appropriate staff.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendar entries for MFRC programs and services.
- Maintain logs, sign-in sheets, and daily customer traffic records.
- Perform routine administrative tasks, such as filing, document preparation, and data entry.
- Ensure office and reception areas remain neat, orderly, and stocked with relevant materials.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable Air Force and privacy guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative support role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a professional setting.
- U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on a military installation.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in a military or government office setting.
- Knowledge of military family programs and resources is a plus.
Additional Information - This position is contingent upon contract award.
- Candidate must be available to begin on the contract start date.
- Must successfully pass a background check and installation access requirements.
Compensation and Benefits Hourly Rate: $17
