Job Description

FOIA ANALYST – GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR

Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing Federal contracting company seeking experienced and talented FOIA Analysts, who are proficient and competent, friendly, people-focused, and able to thrive in a high paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review incoming FOIA/PA requests.
  • Initiate required checks in law enforcement databases and the FOIAXpress database.
  • Redact documents in accordance with FOIA protocols.
  • Prepare documentation for, and draft responses to, FOIA/PA requests.
  • Apply federal laws and regulations pertaining to FOIA/PA.
  • Provide FOIA/PA review and process pending, complex FOIA cases.

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum Three (3) years FOIA/PA experience.
  • Must be proficient with FOIAXpress.
  • Knowledge of exemptions 1-7.
  • Must have familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong work ethic and track record.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
