Job Description

Field Service Technician - Konica Minolta Production Equipment

$59-64k annually ($50-55k salary + $750 monthly car/phone stipend)

The Field Service Representative (Production) plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients. This position is responsible for handling service requests, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance and repairs on high-volume Konica Minolta production equipment. This role requires strong electromechanical skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, and a focus on ensuring client satisfaction while serving as the primary contact for service-related needs.

 

RESPONSIIBILTIES:

Key Responsibilities

· Provide responsive service and support to clients, ensuring timely resolution of requests

· Perform routine and emergency repairs on large-scale Konica Minolta production systems

· Conduct technical diagnostics, apply software updates, and carry out installations

· Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding equipment performance and inventory needs

· Share best practices and assist teammates with service-related procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills

· Hands-on electromechanical experience, proficiency with multi-meters and electrical schematics

· Strong time management, dependability, and organizational skills

· Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance

· Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and complete physical tasks

· Relevant certifications in equipment service, maintenance, or related fields preferred

 

Experience

· Previous experience in technical service or equipment support roles, ideally in production environments

· Background in working with high volume, printer/copier systems in production environments

· Solid background in electromechanical work (i.e. HVAC, automotive, or military technical experience)

· Comfortable with structured technical training and independently completing service assignments

· Familiarity with electrical safety standards and component handling

Education

· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

· Technical certifications or vocational training in service engineering or related fields (required)
