Family Law Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in various family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, child support, and alimony cases. The attorney will provide legal advice, ensure compliance with North Carolina laws, and advocate for clients' best interests in court.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child support hearings
• Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements
• Advise clients on legal rights and responsibilities related to family law matters
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on family law developments in North Carolina
• Maintain accurate and organized case files
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the North Carolina Bar Association
• Proven experience in family law practice, including divorce and custody cases
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Empathy and understanding of clients' emotional needs during legal processes
