Job Description
Position : Epic Ambulatory Analyst
Location : Remote
Duration : 1 Year
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document current and future state workflows for ambulatory care settings.
- Configure and maintain Epic Ambulatory modules including SmartSets, SmartTools, Navigators, Flowsheets, and Order Transmittals
- Manage break/fix tickets, enhancement requests, and new build activities
- Participate in Epic upgrade cycles, including testing, validation, and go-live support
- Collaborate with trainers to develop and deliver end-user education and personalization support
- Lead small to medium-sized projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review
- Provide on-call support and troubleshoot issues during off-hours as needed
- Maintain documentation for build activities and system configurations to support cross-coverage and continuity
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Epic Ambulatory certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare or 1 year supporting technology systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional Epic modules such as ASAP, MyChart, Beacon, or Care Everywhere
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Prior experience in Epic go-live support and optimization projects
