The Job

• Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patients clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.

The Profile

• 2+ to 5 years experience

• Seniority Level - Associate

• Management Experience Required - No

• Minimum Education - Associate's Degree

• Willingness to Travel - Never 

Qualifications:

• Board Certified with the Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Required upon hire

• Registered Vascular Sonographer (RDVS or RVT), If not currently registered, must be registered within 6 months of hire

• BLS

• 3+ years of experience as an Echocardiographer in all modalities of Echo with adult and geriatric patients. 

• TEE, Stress Echo experience required

• Vascular Ultrasound experience preferred

• In-patient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent preferred

Certifications Required:

• RDCS

• RVT

• BLS
