The Information Security team within our ministry is offering an exciting internship opportunity where you’ll gain hands-on experience in the critical field of information security. As an intern with our Information Security team, you’ll be exposed to a range of exciting and essential tasks that contribute directly to the security of the ministry's data and infrastructure. You’ll assist with policy development , helping to craft and refine the security guidelines that ensure we remain compliant and secure. You’ll also have the opportunity to dive into data classification frameworks , gaining valuable experience in how organizations categorize and protect their most critical information. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn about data governance, regulatory requirements, and best practices in the industry.
If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ll get involved in automation scripting , creating scripts that help streamline and automate security processes. This is a perfect opportunity for those who enjoy coding and want to see their work directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations. For those interested in the more technical side of security, you’ll assist with detection rule development , helping to design rules that identify potential security threats and intrusions. You’ll also have the chance to explore adversary profiles , working with the team to understand the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) that hackers use to try and breach systems.
