TennMax America Inc. is a worldwide leader in electronic components for Aerospace and Military industries, headquartered in Vancouver, WA.

What you'll do:

Assist with the GAP analysis for the new CMMC 2.0 requirements. This is a part-time flexible position over the next threeto four months. A great opportunity for a college student looking for some real-world experience. Someone is needed to collaborate with the Cyber Security consulting expert and upper management.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Basic Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-171).
  • Understanding of data protection and compliance standards.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 or Azure.
  • Exposure to security tools like endpoint detection and response (EDR) or password managers.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Documentation:
  • Assist in creating and updating the System Security Plan (SSP).
  • Document security controls and implementation details.
  • Maintain records of compliance activities.
  • Policy Development:
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Technical Assistance:
  • Aid in configuring and managing security tools.
  • Monitor and report on system security metrics.
