This role blends visionary leadership with hands-on creative direction and mentorship, inspiring our team to deliver meaningful, effective, and unforgettable creative for Firespring and our clients.
Key Roles - Lead & Mentor - Hire, guide, and grow creative talent while fostering a positive, collaborative, and growth-minded culture.
- Creative Direction & Quality - Provide clear vision, constructive feedback, and a high bar for creative excellence across all deliverables.
- Collaboration & Strategy - Partner with leaders across teams to align creative work with brand and business goals.
- Process & Efficiency - Continuously improve workflows, resource allocation, and project management to ensure work is delivered on time and at a high standard.
- Trendspotting & Thought Leadership - Stay ahead of design, marketing, and advertising trends, sparking fresh ideas and sharing best practices that push us forward.
Tasks & Responsibilities - Provide input and direction on creative briefs, ensuring alignment with goals and clarity for the team.
- Lead creative ideation sessions, guiding concepts, strategies, and client presentations.
- Review, edit, and refine creative work to maintain Firespring’s quality standards and brand identity.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels, with special focus on social media and marketing content.
- Oversee multiple projects and timelines, managing resources and troubleshooting challenges.
- Jump in when needed on pitches, campaigns, or client projects, leading by example.
- Partner with internal leaders in marketing, sales, and support to align creative strategies with client objectives.
- Provide strategic direction for content and social media initiatives to drive engagement and impact.
- Evaluate team performance, identify growth opportunities, and mentor individuals for career development.
- Organize team-building opportunities and cultivate an environment of trust, collaboration, and innovation.
- Maintain strong relationships with creative vendors, partners, and industry resources.
Qualifications - 5-7 years of agency or related creative leadership experience.
- Proven track record of leading creative teams and delivering high-quality work across multiple channels.
- Expertise in marketing, design, and advertising strategies.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simply complex ideas.
- Strength in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Natural problem-solver who brings clarity in the midst of complexity.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about growing both people and ideas.
