Cost Accountant - Manufacturing / ERP / Power BI
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay: $80,000 - $95,000
Schedule: Onsite (5 days/week)

Our client is a leading manufacturing company undergoing an ERP transition and looking to enhance their financial reporting capabilities. They specialize in delivering high-quality products and are focused on driving efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

They are looking for you, an experienced Cost Accountant , to take ownership of financial reporting, variance analysis, and BI dashboard development. This is a direct-hire opportunity with high visibility across finance and operations.

What you get to do:

Lead the development of automated financial and operational reports aligned with the ERP system.
Establish Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting for improved business insights.
Conduct variance analysis (materials, labor, overhead) and provide actionable cost insights.
Work closely with finance and operations teams to explain cost drivers and improve reporting accuracy.

What you need to succeed:

3-10 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing (salary based on experience level).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred)
ERP experience.
Strong Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Hlookup, etc.)
Power BI experience for reporting and visualization (Tableau is a plus).
Advanced variance analysis and cost modeling expertise.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
