Machinist / Mill / Saw Operator

Location: Detroit | Pay: Based on Experience

Our client—a manufacturer serving Aerospace, Steel, Automation, and Scrap industries—is looking for a skilled Machinist, Mill, or Saw Operator. If you’ve got a strong work ethic, mechanical know-how, and the drive to grow, this is a place where you’ll feel right at home.

What You’ll Do:

• Read blueprints, process sheets, and work orders
• Load and unload parts using cranes, magnets, or fixtures
• Run proven programs on Floor Mills, Bridge Mills, Planer Mills, and Saws
• Perform in-process inspections and document your results
• Keep your machine and work area clean and organized
• Move completed parts and paperwork through the shop

What They’re Looking For:

• 5–10 years of machining experience
• Strong mechanical and math skills
• Experience with setups, offsets, and running a variety of mills and saws
• Solid inspection skills (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Reliable attendance and a great attitude
• A desire to learn, improve, and take on new challenges
