• We are hiring immediately for a full time  CASHROOM ASSISTANT  position.
• Location : Canteen - 7 Greenwood Avenue, Romeoville, IL 60446.  Note: online applications accepted only .
• Schedule : Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; more details upon interview.
• Requirement : Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Pay Range:  $18.00 per hour to $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares deposit verification and currency orders for vending route drivers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains accuracy of vending machine money collected and returned by route drivers.
• Prepares and distributes change of coins and petty cash for route drivers.
• Ensures coin and currency counters are accurate.
• Ensures route statements are accurate prior to making end-of-day deposits.
• Balances out the vault to ensure route statements match funds that are being deposited.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
