**Are you ready to design and innovate electrical systems?** PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team in Tempe, AZ! **Role Summary:** As an CAD Designer, you will design and modify electrical drawings, including instrumentation cabinets, individual enclosures, cable designs, and relay circuit designs. Your role is crucial in ensuring the cost efficiency and reliability of our products and processes. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** + **Design and Modification:** Create new and modify existing electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical. + **Evaluation:** Evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability. + **Project Completion:** Ensure timely completion of production by collaborating with other members of the engineering staff. + **Leadership:** May lead and direct the work of others, utilizing creativity and latitude. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in area of specialty. + 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. + Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical. + Strong understanding of electrical design principles and practices. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with instrumentation cabinets, individual enclosures, cable designs, and relay circuit designs. + Ability to evaluate cost efficiency and reliability of products and processes. + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. + Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively. **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech Commercial, we value our employees and foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
