Key Responsibilities:
Operate a box truck safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete deliveries on time.
Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary customer signatures.
Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Assist with warehouse duties as needed when not driving.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL NOT required.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Knowledge of local and regional routes is a plus.
