Discover Chiropractic, PLLC in Bothell, WA is looking for a part-time back office chiropractic assistant to join our team. We are located on 22833 Bothell Everett Hwy Suite 202. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged. This is an entry level position Ideal for college student or someone looking to enter the medical world.
Responsibilities/Description
• Welcomes patients and visitors to our clinic providing exceptional customer service.
• Process new patients: take back to treatment room, take posture photos, navigate patient thru office paperwork and signatures, take basic vitals, document initial history interview (all processes will be trained).
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations from insurance companies (training provided)
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Doctor availability (training provided)
• Keep flow of patients consistent and on track for care while in the office and perform stretching and strengthening instructions (training provided)
**We provide full training for all skills needed to perform the job!
Qualifications
Prior medical/healthcare field work preferred but not required.
• 1+ year of experience in a customer service role is helpful
• Friendly and compassionate disposition - must like interacting with people
• Prompt and reliable
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• English/Spanish (bilingual) is a plus but not required
